Inspired by the discovery of the Royal Record of King George VI's Coronation, which details thousands of celebration trees, the Woodland Trust will create a new Record of trees planted in 2012 for the Diamond Jubilee. http://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/en/jubilee-woods/about/Pages/royal-record.aspx

To mark our part in this project, the Highleadon Green planting event will be recorded in this new Royal Record. This entry is also recorded, (with that of others,) on the Woodland Trust on-line map. (just enter GL18  1HQ in the search to find our entry)

At the end of the project the collection of records will be presented to The Queen and a copy will be placed in the British Library, preserved for generations to come.
